You can participate in up to three practice sessions or for 30 days at no cost, whichever comes first. Afterward, new paddlers are expected to pay their dues.

CDBA Membership

The California Dragon Boat Association (CDBA) is the umbrella organization for dragon boating in the Bay Area. The CDBA is run entirely by volunteer paddlers and takes care of all of the logistics that make it possible to participate in the sport. In addition to many other things, the CDBA provides and maintains all boats, paddles and PFD’s, organizes all races, runs the largest youth dragon boating program in the U.S. and is host to the San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival – the largest dragon boat festival in the United States.

All Dragon Warriors are required to be due(s)-paying members of the CDBA and be registered on Revsport.

2024 Dues

(July – December)

Pay both CDBA and DW dues to Melvin.

  • Adults $105 (includes $80 CDBA + $25 DW)
  • College $65 (includes $40 CDBA + $25 DW)

  • Youth $15 (includes $0 CDBA + $15 DW)

Note your first + last name and CDBA Invoice #.
